Saturday, May 8th, 10:00 am-4:00 pm, come to the Pocosin Arts Studio for a creative day making potholders and puppets, which you may offer for sale and/or display during the summer exhibit: Pots, Pot Racks, Potholders, and Puppets! Bring some supplies such as felted wool, fabric remnants, quilt squares, needles & thread, embroidery floss, scissors, (& your sewing machine if you prefer).  We will exchange ideas about how to make artful potholders using simple hand-stitching techniques. We’ll also collaborate on some ideas for making handmade original and inspired puppets with children. Get some ideas for Vacation Bible School craft projects! All participants will have the chance to create these inspired local arts and crafts to sell through the Pocosin Arts Gallery during the summer tourist season.  Limited space for participants, call ahead to RSVP: 252-796-2787.
